Youth Clubs

There are two youth clubs that meet fortnightly on Friday evenings at the Preston Baptist Church.

The first is for children in school years 3 to 6 and meets between 7.00pm and 8.00pm.

These evenings involve games and we have a table tennis table, pool table and table football. We also play team games in our large hall. The

children enjoy cooking and craft on a regular basis. We also have a tuck shop that’s always popular.

The second group is for school years 7 to 9 and meets between 8.00pm and 9.15pm.

Because we recognise that this group is older and growing up, the older group evenings are different to younger group . We include many of the children’s ideas and each term we go out on a couple of evenings for bowling, swimming, crazy golf and other exciting activities. On other evenings we have games, cooking, video nights and many different events.

Through the year the youth clubs plan a number of special events. We mark Bonfire night with a fire and hot food, celebrate Christmas with a party and spice up the summer with a barbecue.

These are all-age events to which all the family are invited.
